Sixty years ago, Ford introduced a rugged little 4×4 that helped define what we now call the sport-utility vehicle. That was the original Ford Bronco. Now, in 2026, Ford is celebrating its legacy with a special package the 2026 Bronco 60th Anniversary Edition.

Celebrating 60 Years of Bronco Adventure
Originally launched in August 1965, the Bronco has become an American icon in off-road culture. Ford’s 60th Anniversary Package honors that journey with a build that draws from the past but charges forward with modern strength and capability.
What’s Included in the 60th Anniversary Package
The package is available exclusively on the Outer Banks series and comes standard with the Sasquatch package. Buyers can choose between a 2.3L EcoBoost I4 or an optional 2.7L EcoBoost V6.
Both engines are mated to Ford’s Advanced 4×4 system, with electronic-locking front and rear differentials, high-clearance suspension, and 35-inch Goodyear rugged terrain tires.

Vintage Styling
Design details inspired by the original 1966 Bronco make this model stand out. The special edition includes:
- Gravity Gray 17-inch alloy wheels with Vermilion Red center caps featuring a retro Bronco logo and “1966” marking
- A retro-styled grille with Warm Alloy paint and Vermilion Red “BRONCO” lettering
- A Wimbledon White roof available with a matching body or contrasting Ruby Red exterior
- 60th Anniversary graphics on the side panels and badging modeled after the original Bronco and inspired by classic Mustang-style cloisonné emblems

Interior Upgrades for 2026
The interior of the 2026 Bronco 60th Anniversary Edition keeps things simple but sharp. The seats are wrapped in Ebony leather with Alpine leather inserts, and there’s a subtle 60th Anniversary logo pressed into the seatbacks. The armrests are finished in durable marine-grade vinyl, and the dash gets Alpine stitching for a bit of added texture.

You’ll also find Bronco Red accents on the dash and grab handles, which give the interior just enough pop without going over the top. Standard-length running boards make getting in and out easier, and around back, the spare tire comes with a Wimbledon White cover and a bold Vermilion Red “BRONCO” logo that ties it all together.

Rear-End Refinement
Even the back of this Bronco gets a premium touch. A Wimbledon White spare tire cover with Vermilion Red “BRONCO” lettering and a matte black Ford badge on the tailgate offer clean, distinctive styling cues.
