2026 Aston Martin Vantage S: The Blade Just Got Sharper

There’s no shortage of fast cars today. But the way new 2026 Aston Martin Vantage S manages to fuse power and presence is a rarity. Vantage S, is more of a refinement attempted by Aston Martin on what is already one of the most athletic front-engine sports cars in its class.

A Turbocharged V8 and 800 Nm of Torque

At the heart of the Vantage S is a revised 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 that now produces 680PS (671 hp) and 800Nm (590 lb-ft) of torque. The engine still sits low and far back in the chassis, sending all that power to the rear wheels via a ZF 8-speed automatic transaxle. A refined launch control system cuts the 0–60 mph time to just 3.3 seconds, shaving a tenth of a second off the regular Vantage’s 0–60 time. Top speed holds steady at 202 mph, which, let’s be honest, is more than enough to raise your heartbeat.

But the real story lies in how it feels. Suspension hardware has been overhauled with Bilstein DTX adaptive dampers, recalibrated for sharper front-end response. New powertrain mounts and a stiffer rear subframe (now mounted directly to the chassis without rubber bushings) increase body control and connection.

Aston Martin Engineers softened the rear spring aids and reduced transmission mount stiffness by 10%.

Design Details That Do the Talking

Aston hasn’t gone wild with visual changes, and that’s a good thing because its already much loved in its current form. Vantage S increased the appeal by, donning a new pair of centrally-mounted bonnet blades, offered in gloss black or exposed carbon fiber, help extract heat from the “hot-V” turbo setup and also adds assertiveness to its face.

At the rear, a full-width decklid spoiler pushes an additional 97 pounds of downforce at speed. Alongside underbody aero and new venturi vanes, generates 245 pounds of total downforce.

Subtle but striking ‘S’ badges, crafted in forged brass and filled with red enamel, appear on the front fenders, while 21-inch satin black wheels with red accents and bronze brake calipers are complimenting the looks. Carbon ceramics are available, of course, but even the standard steel setup (16-inch front, 14.2-inch rear) is more than enough for most.

Inside, the Cockpit

Slide inside and the changes are tactile. The Vantage S gets a leather-and-Alcantara interior with satin carbon fiber trim as standard. The sport seats wear an embroidered ‘S’ logo stitched with nearly 2,500 threads, and the Aston Martin wings are embossed into the headrests using a unique heat-and-pressure technique.

You’ll also find a knurled drive mode rotary dial that can be finished in red or silver, matched to accent stitching, seat belts, and even the embroidery. Optional “Inspire Sport” themes bring in semi-aniline leather, chevron-quilted seats, and enough personalization choices to match the Vantage S to your mood, or your garage.
